Eurofins GSC Poland has leased over 1 700 sq. meters of office space at Katowice Business Point. Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield advised in this transaction an affiliate of a global investment firm represented in Poland by Syrena Real Estate.

Katowice Business Point (KBP) is an eleven-storey class A office building offering 17 000 sq. meters of leasable space and 200 parking spaces in a three-level underground car park. It is located in downtown Katowice, next to the Silesia City Center retail complex.

„Katowice Business Point is a landmark office building in Katowice. Its tenants include leading Polish and international firms. The building’s top location and exposure along the central highway (DTŚ) with convenient access to public transportation, and most importantly the high quality and efficiency of office spaces providing a comfortable working environment were the key reasons why Eurofins GSC chose KBP for its new office” – said Jacek Dymek, negotiator, Office Agency, Cushman & Wakefield.

“After two years of Eurofins GSC Poland’s presence on the Silesian market, we created an office that both meets our employees’ expectations and directly reflects the nature of Eurofins’ business. All the tests we carry out daily in our laboratories are meant to improve the quality of human life in a constantly changing environment. While designing our office, we opted for mainly organic materials such as wood, wool and living plants. Our office largely features colours found in the natural environment: shades of green and brown, which are complemented by our corporate colours throughout. The interior has been furnished with more than 600 living plants that will continue to grow with us in years to come. We wanted to create a fresh and elegant space to enable efficient work. And in response to our employees’ suggestions we installed soundproof panels and felt elements designed to guarantee good acoustics in the workplace” – said Olaf Kacperski, president of Eurofins GSC Poland.

Ofisovnia from Warsaw was responsible for the architectural design of the office and supervision of fit-out works. Reesco acted as project monitor for the owner.
