Francuska Park

Francuska Park Sp. z o.o. prepares to build a residential complex situated in the junction of Francuska and Lotnisko streets. It will be one of the biggest housing estates’ projects launched recently in Katowice. Number of apartments will total 650. Construction work on Francuska Park is to be started this autumn.

This residential scheme will be located just 5-minutes drive from the downtown of Katowice within an easy reach to the “3 Stawy” shopping center, the “A4” motorway, and the “Dolina Trzech Stawów” recreational area. The housing estate will consist of nine buildings reaching from 5 to 9 storeys plus one underground floor designed for car parks. A total area of the complex is 31 350 sq. meters.

“At present, we are looking for a prime contractor and we would like to begin the construction work in the turn of September and October. For a kick-off, we will start with one building offering 92 apartments” – says Małgorzata Neyman, Sales Director of Francuska Park. “The offer includes 2-room apartments between 37 and 50 sq. m., 3-room from 59 sq. m. and 4-room apartments covering area from 89 sq. m.”

Francuska Park was designed by the architectural studio of Wojciech Wojciechowski. Apartments located on the ground floor will feature small gardens, apartments on the top floors will offer fair-sized terraces. The facilities are to be finished with stone, wood, glass and elevation slabs. The buildings’ footprint is 30 percent of the plot area. Children’s playgrounds and retail units are planned within the complex.

According to the developer, the housing estate will be raised in compliance with green building solutions. “We applied technologies which help to save the energy and decrease the costs of living. To do so, ecological materials will be used to build the estate. Additionally, rain water from an artificial reservoir will be used for green-keeping, lighting of the housing area will be provided by solar streetlights” – Małgorzata Neyman explains.

The first building of Francuska Park is scheduled to be delivered in Q1 2013.
