Gant Development S.A. with the seat in Legnica plans to build a mixed-use complex near “Spodek”. This project will be localised on Olimpijska St., in the area of the future cultural district of Katowice. The three high towers mixing office, retail and residential functions can be expected in the neighbourhood of planned buildings of the International Convention Center, the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Silesian Museum. katowicethecity.com asked Gant’s representative about a present status of the project. – The company is positive about this investment and procedures are under way. We already filed a motion for a planning permission in the City Hall and we are currently expecting for the administrative decision. After that, we will be able to disclose more details of the project like a total area and height. The most probably, the complex will consist of three high-rise buildings of which concept project was designed by “PRC Architekci” architectural studio – can be heard in Gant’s office.
The buildings architecture is based on apperance of coal-pits which are characteristic for the industrial Silesian landscape.
