The new Railway Station’s building is being prepared for the opening on 30th of October. The glass entrance elevation has been already installed and necessary inspections are being carried out inside the hall to obtain the acceptance of safety conditions.
The inspections are reviewed by the National Fire Services and the Health Protection Agency. This week the building will start to be handed over to Polish State Railways (PKP) which is Neinver’s investment partner in the development of the Station and Galeria Katowicka.
Works on the entrance square are almost done. The area is to be separated from Galeria Katowicka’s construction site with a fence. According to the last investor’s statement, the shopping mall is scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter of 2013.
Also, fourteen of sixteen cup-shaped pillars have already been reconstructed. The last two pillars are being presently concreted and the works will be concluded by the end of September.
Chairs and roofs are being mounted for the first two screening rooms of Multikino, and so are the multiplex’s walls at Słowackiego St. Brick-laying, plastering and finishing works are underway at most advanced sections of Galeria Katowicka.
Only four towers cranes left at the site helping to erect the multifunctional complex.
