Since July, the Upper Silesian Industrial Park (GPP) has been operating an Environmental Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 for the rental of modern and energy-efficient office and warehouse space.
The certificate was awarded by renowned BSI Group had founded in London in 1901.
Using ISO 14001:2004 the holder can provide positive impact on finances, management and marketing. It provides practical tools for companies to benefit from reduced cost of waste management, savings in consumption of energy and materials, lower distribution costs or improved corporate image.
Last year, the Upper Silesian Industrial Park celebrated the opening of its first office building erected within GPP Business Park. This is the first office facility in Poland that uses a green infrastructure of the tri-generation system.
