After the expansion of Hotele Diament in the middle of September last year, the hotel chain confirmed the willingness to prepare a new investment in Katowice.
Hotele Diament took over five hotels from StyleHotels last year. It was the largest acquisition on the Polish hospitality market in the last few years, according to the new owner. Also, the chain opened a new four-star hotel in Zabrze earlier the same year. Now the company plans to establish two new hotels in Warsaw and Katowice. The larger one will be located in the Silesian voivodeship’s capital.
„Our company prepares a few new hotel investments. There are a hotel in Warsaw and a new large project in Katowice, among the undertakings. The Katowice hotel will be a four- or five-star facility offering about 300 rooms” – Rafał Bakalarski, CEO of Hotele Diament, said during Property Forum Katowice last week.
The investor does not disclose any further details about the localization of the hotel and its architecture. More information about the project is expected to be released in spring this year.
Hotele Diament currently owns 14 hotels in eight cities in the southern part of Poland and over 2 000 rooms. The chain has about 25 000 guests every month.
