Katowice exhibits investment offers in Munich

1 663 exhibitors from 33 countries have registered for the 16th International Trade Fair for Property and Investment – Expo Real in Munich. The City of Katowice, together with the Silesian voivodeship’s Marshal Office and the Metropolitan Association of Upper Silesia (MAUS), is also amongst the participants.

The 3-day event began on Monday, 7th of October. Katowice presents its investments offer on a joint stand with Chorzów, Częstochowa, Wodzisław Śląski, Tarnowskie Góry as well as with Bytom, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Sosnowiec, Świętochłowice and Zabrze (represented by the MAUS). The delegation is attended by Piotr Uszok, Katowice mayor, and Dawid Kostempski, chairman of the board of the Metropolitan Association of Upper Silesia.

Similarly to the previous years, the Upper Silesian’s joint stand is the largest of all Polish exhibition areas. Katowice and the Upper Silesian representatives can be found in the hall A1, booth 135.

Last year, the trade fair was visited by 38 000 people. Poland was fifth for the total number of visitors after Germany, the Great Britain, Austria and the Netherlands.
