The Market Sq. and the square between the Silesian Theater and the „Skarbek” merchant house are being covered with granite and stone pavements and surfaces within the second stage of the City Center redevelopment. See on photos how the whole area is changing.
Also, a completely new trottoir and tram track infrastructure are almost done on 3 Maja St. Road works are still underway on Korfantego Av. and Moniuszki St. Builders have also commenced to prepare a new bed for the „Rawa” river.
Pictures were taken from Młyńska 1 (former “Dom Prasy“), a new office building of the City Hall of Katowice, where a citizen service bureau will be opened this spring and to where several departments will be moved from other locations in the City.
