Mostostal Warszawa S.A., a building company, achieved the highest score of the tender for prime contractor of the Advanced Information Technology Center. The company’s offer was chosen from twelve bids. The only criteria of the evaluation was the lowest price.
The investment is planned by the University of Economics in Katowice. Now, according to tender procedures, the remaining eleven companies can protest the decision made by the University by 22nd of August. Potential protests will be examined by the National Appeal Chamber (NAC) in Warsaw.

The Advanced Information Technology Center will be built on Bogucicka St. An estimated cost of construction work is PLN 41,2 million. An opening of the AITC is scheduled for autumn 2013. The building will be a modern educational facility designed for didactic and scientific purposes. It will also help to develop a cooperation between science and business sectors.
