New modern offices came up in Brynów

Construction works are being concluded on Brynów Center I, the latest investment of the Katowice School of Technology (WST). The building will be one of the most modern office facilities in Katowice.

Brynów Center I covers a total area of 11 196 sq. meters and will be a seat of the Science and Technology Park Silesia created by WST in 2011. Additionally, about 1 800 sq. meters of office space were designed for lease by new technologies and innovative companies as well as start-ups, the ground floor will be occupied by retail tenants. The new building will also be a home for school labs of mechatronics’ research and development unit (Center for Technology Transfer).

Now construction crews mount the facade and installations are being provided for the interiors. To save, produce and even sell its own energy, the south elevation of Brynów Center I will be covered by photovoltaic solar panels and gas turbines were installed in the underground storey as a part of tri-generation system.

It is expected to open the 6-storey building (two located under the ground as a car park) in the first half of this year. The architectural design was prepared by Atelier PS from Katowice. The Almir company from Dąbrowa Górnicza is a prime contractor of the undertaking.

Brynów Center I is probably not the last office scheme in the area, as the investor of the building already revealed to erect Brynów Center II.
