At the beginning of March, construction works were launched on a new road connecting Młyńska and Dworcowa streets. The route will be located along the planned office building to be raised within the Neinver’s multipurpose complex.
The new road will help to improve the traffic in the area of the City Hall and Szewczyka Sq. This 4,5 meters wide one-way street will be about 100 meters long. It is planned to deliver the new route in August this year. Neinver prepared the project and covers costs of the undertaking.
In the meantime, construction crews have finished the installation of Galeria Katowicka’s glass elevation under the umbrella pillars, right next to the Railway Station’s main entrance. Works are underway on the elevations of the mall’s ground-floor stores from the side of Młyńska St. All straight skylights have been glazed. The remaining parts are the oval skylight over the main entrance and its façade.
Shop windows began to be mounted at the second level, below the cup-shaped pillars. First commercial units and stock rooms are ready to be handed over to tenants. Banisters are being mounted and floor tiles laid in the passages.
