Office building on Powstańców St. to be renovated

By the end of 2015, the office building at 41A Powstańców St. will be fully refurbished. The facility is owned by the Silesian Voivodeship Office, which will provide financing for the renovation.

The building is a seat of local government administration’s offices. It was raised in the 70s of last century and now needs immediate renewal of elevation and fittings due to safety regulations. Also, the facility differs from neighbouring buildings as it is located close upon the new and modern Francuska Office Center, the Regional Court and other financial institutions’ seats. After the refurbishment, the property’s external appearance will be improved.

The 11-storey building will get new interiors, fittings (including air-conditioning and solar installations) and elevation. The Jack-Bud company was chosen to conduct the works. The renovation will cost PLN 21,5 million and is scheduled to be concluded by the end of December 2015.
