Construction works is being concluded on the second office building of GPP Business Park. At the same time, concrete works were finished on the third building.
The works on the two office facilities were commenced in April last year. The both buildings (2 x 7 800 sq. meters) will be named after Nobel prize winners that came from the Upper Silesia region – Otto Stern and Kurt Alder. Stern is almost done and last works on the elevation are underway. Alder has been recently topped-out and brick laying was commenced on several floors.
Spec Bau is a prime contractor of the buildings. „Stern will be delivered in April while the opening of Alder is scheduled for the turn of third and fourth quarter of 2014” – said Justyna Bartecka, marketing and development director of the Upper Silesian Industrial Park. In September 2013, Stern was already 80% pre-leased by ING Services Poland.
Additionally, a new firm has joined the list of tenants of the office park. The latest lease contract was signed with Epstim, a consultancy company working in the area of information technology and specialized mostly in business process re-engineering. Epstim has leased 515 sq. meters of office space in the existing building of GPP Business Park, Goeppert-Mayer. The company is headquartered in Katowice and is also present in San Francisco, London and Munich.
GPP Business Park is being built on Konduktorska St. by the Upper Silesian Industrial Park.
