51 charter destinations, including 12 new routes, will be offered from the Katowice International Airport by tour operators and travel agencies this summer.
The largest number of destinations will be offered to Greece. Among these are well known routes to Halkidiki as well as to Chania and Heraklion on Crete and to five other islands – Kefalonia, Corfu, Cos, Rhodes and Zakynthos. The new offer includes: Attica, Ithaca, Lefkada, Peloponnese, Olympic Riviera, Samos and Thassos.
The second most popular holiday location regarding the number of destinations will be Spain. Tourists traveling from Katowice can choose from ten routes: Costa Blanca (new offer), Costa Brava, Costa Dorada and Malaga, four Atlantic islands – Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife, as well as two Mediterranean islands – Ibiza and Majorca.
Four destinations will be available on the routes between Katowice and Turkey (Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman and Izmir) or Egypt (Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Sharm el-Sheikh and Taba).
From the airport in Katowice we will also get to Calabria, Lamezia Terme and Olbia in Italy as well as to Djerba, Enfidha and Monastir in Tunisia. Two charter routes are offered to Portugal (Madeira and Faro), Bulgaria (Varna and Burgas), Cyprus (Ercan and Pafos) and Montenegro (area of Podgorica). Additionally, travel agencies prepared holiday connections to Israel (Tel Aviv), Marocco (Agadir), Croatia (Dubrovnik), Georgia (Batumi) and Albania (Saranda). The last three destinations are this summer’s newly offered holiday destinations.
