Philharmonic uncovers brick interiors

Mostostal Warszawa S.A. is carrying out a redevelopment of the building of Silesian Philharmonic. The construction crew is mostly involved in a dismantling of walls and ceiling facing at present.

The extension shall be increased by 2 066 sq. meters to reach the total surface of 5 252 sq. m. The new part of the building will be raised at the site behind the existing structure. Ground works have been already launched. After the redevelopment, music lovers will be able to enjoy, among others, an organ designed by prof. Julian Gembalski and air-conditioning of the concert hall and of all interiors. Architectural barriers for the disabled will be completely removed.

The construction work shall be finished by the end of May 2012.
