PKP Cargo is preparing to sell its Katowice office building located on św. Huberta St. The company will leave the facility by September this year and move to the second building of A4 Business Park.
The state-treasury controlled company informed over a week ago, that it had leased 8 000 sq. meters of offices in the Echo Investment’s business park. Thus, PKP Cargo will move out from two buildings, which are currently occupied by the firm – these are the office building on św. Huberta St. and the leased Reinhold Center office building on Wojciecha Korfantego Av. At the same time the office building on św. Huberta St., which belongs to PKP Cargo, will be put up for sale.
The property is located at 11 św. Huberta St. and is made up of plots covering the total area of 7 400 sq. meters. The perpetual usufruct of the land is 100% owned by PKP Cargo. The usable area of the 7-storey office building totals 4 904 sq. meters. A complex renewal of the facility was conducted between the years 2010 and 2011. The area of the property enables to build one more building of the same size as the existing one.
The company has not yet decided when the official invitation for purchasers would be announced .
