The building of „Poczta Polska” (Polish Post) remains unsold. There were no bidders willing to purchase the property.
The oral tender was planned for the last Friday, 28th of November. As no one had paid a deposit requested by the seller, the tender did not take place. The company wanted to sell the building for PLN 15,09 million at least.
The Polish Post already confirmed to organize a new tender, which will most likely be held at the beginning of 2015. A due date should be known in the weeks to come. The seller has not made yet a decision about the initial price reduction.
The Polish Post’s seat is located at 9 Pocztowa St. in the very heart of Katowice, approximately 150 meters from the Market Square. It covers the usable area of 6 004 sq. meters and is situated at the plot totalling 2 309 sq. meters.
