Pradera acquired, BNP Paribas Real Estate will manage

Pradera, one of Europe’s leading specialist retail property fund and asset managers, has completed the first acquisitions of IKEA retail parks including the one located in Katowice.

In March, the fund has signed a contract to acquire 25 prime retail parks next to IKEA stores in eight European countries. The portfolio of retail parks situated next to IKEA stores comprises around 500 units with a GLA of around 538 000 sq. meters. This month, the fund completed the first acquisitions of 17 assets situated in Germany, France and Poland. The Polish portfolio includes two retail parks in Warsaw, one in Katowice and one in Poznań.

The Katowice facility – Park Handlowy Rawa – is located at 97 Roździeńskiego Av. It covers the area of 8 600 sq. meters and was built in 2005. The list of tenants includes brands offering furnitures, home decorations and accesories as well as the Piotr i Paweł supermarket.

BNP Paribas Real Estate has been selected to provide property management services in 8 countries on behalf of Pradera. The firm will take over the property management of 25 properties including the Katowice retail park. Pradera will act as asset manager.
