The City Hall of Katowice issued an invitation for companies to submit bids for the erection of the C4 building to be realized within the city center redevelopment.
The pavilion will be located at the so called Central Square – in the northern part of the Market Square, between the ING Bank Śląski building and a tenement at 1 Korfantego Av.
The two-storey building (plus one level situated under the ground) will be destined for gastronomy purposes and will cover the area of approximately 550 sq. meters. It will be made of steel and reinforced concrete to be covered with glass. The size of the cuboid is over 7 meters high and 43 meters wide.
The C4 pavilion will be erected within the fourth stage of the Market Square – Roundabout area redevelopment. At the beginning of April this year, the buildings C1, C2 and C3 were delivered at the Market Square where a cafe and florists shops are placed.
Final bids have to be submitted by 15th of September 2015. The prime contractor will be obligded to finish the construction work on the C4 pavilion by 30th of June 2016.
