ECE purchased the hotel from Accor in 2007. The building is out of use since 2006. Now it seems Silesia will be sold more than once. ECE found a new owner, who now announces to sell the hotel.

The new owner is now represented by a law firm from Katowice, which has been appointed to sell the property. „The sale announcement is valid and all interested parties are welcomed to contact our office in this case” – representative of „DBWP Kancelaria Radców Prawnych” said.

A few days ago, the katowice.gazeta.pl portal reported that the Silesia Hotel would be purchased by a businessman connected with the Mhotels company, which owns M Hotel Sosnowiec. The new owner has already signed a preliminary contract to purchase the property from ECE and published the offer of sale.

The 11-storey Silesia Hotel is located at 2 Piotra Skargi St. and was built in 1971. It covers the area of 11 261 sq. meters. Parcels of land totalling 9 716 sq. meters are also the subject of sale. According to the study of conditions and directions of spatial development plan, the land can be used for office, retail (up to 2 000 sq. meters), residential or hotel projects. The spatial development plan for the area is expected to be passed in the middle of 2015.
