Skanska glosses over first deal in Silesia Business Park

Last week, katowicethecity.com informed about the first tenant in Silesia Business Park. Skanska Property Poland, the developer of the office complex, has signed a lease agreement with the global consultancy PwC. Today, the developer informed officially about the deal.

Under the agreement, PwC Service Delivery Center leased 6 770 sq. meters at Silesia Business Park for its new office in Katowice. „We are positive this is the best timing for our first investment in Katowice, where supply of modern office space is now relatively low compared with other cities in Poland. Silesia Business Park has a huge potential, with its interesting design and perfect location. The lease agreement with a renowned company such as PwC is the best reflection of this, and so are our talks with other tenants currently in progress. We intend to develop the complex phase-by-phase, in line with tenant demand” – said Arkadiusz Rudzki, Leasing and Asset Management Director at Skanska Property Poland.

Silesia Business Park is a modern office complex offering a total of 46 000 sq. meters of office space in 4 buildings. There will be 600 parking spaces available to future tenants in an underground car park and outside. The developer points out that the location is a huge advantage of Silesia Business Park. The complex is situated within 5 minutes’ drive from the City Center, on Chorzowska St. that connects Katowice with Chorzów, Bytom and Zabrze. The users will find it easy to get to work by public transport and by bicycle. A special parking area for bicycles as well as changing rooms with showers will be available for cyclists. The neighborhood of Silesia City Center also offers plenty of opportunities for shopping and entertainment after work.
