PBO Skobud, a building company, begins works on the third stage of the Oak Terraces (“Dębowe Tarasy”) housing estate. A contract was signed last week between Immofinanz Group, an investor of the undertaking, and Skobud.
According to the contract, the prime contractor will deliver the three buildings of the stage by the end of November 2013. “Today we started set up and installation of our temporary facilities. Ground works will be kicked-off next week” – said Łukasz Oczkowski, construction manager at Skobud. Three cranes will be used to erect the residential buildings.
“The Oak Terraces project is very prestigious for us, expectations of the investor are very high. However, Skobud likes challenges” – commented Stanisław Kaszowski, CEO of Skobud. “We have an experience in residential projects as our company was responsible for construction work on the “Nowy Przewóz” housing estate and the “Wielopole Residence” apartment building both located in Kraków”.
The company was established in 1989 and is based in Żywiec, Poland. Skobud has completed over 250 construction investments. In Katowice, the firm will build 317 apartments in three buildings. A total worth of the undertaking amounts to EUR 21,7 million. The investment will be carried out by Buwog International, a subsidiary of Immofinanz, responsible for residential schemes.
