The Poland’s biggest event for Small and Medium – Size Enterprises will be held in Katowice in September. Several dozen panel sessions and a number of workshops and informal meetings attended by experts from Poland and abroad will take place within the three days of the congress.
According to the organizer, small and medium-size entrepreneurship is the most important sector of the Polish economy. Challenges and possibilities of development of small and medium-size enterprises will be discussed by the most significant personalities in Poland, representatives of science, politics and economy, as well as numerous foreign delegations. Fourth edition of the most important meeting of small and medium-size companies will take place between 22nd and 24th of September 2014.
„This year we want to host delegations of nine countries which joined the European Union in 2004 together with Poland” – said Tadeusz Donocik, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice. Additionally, one of the main topics of the congress’ this year edition will be the cooperation between American and European small and medium-size entrepreneurs.
Two previous editions gathered a numerous group of the representatives of business, science, politics and economic environment, who discussed the possibilities and barriers standing in front of micro, small and medium-size enterprises. The 3rd European Congress of Small and Medium-Size Enterprises, which took place on 16th – 18th of September 2013, included 56 events, gathered 190 experts, 170 foreign guests from 35 countries and altogether above 3 500 participants.
Participation in the event is free of charge. From the beginning, the organizer of the congress is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice.
