Starbucks chose Galeria Katowicka

Neinver Polska, a developer of the multipurpose complex being built at Szewczyka Sq., concluded new lease agreements of retail space in Galeria Katowicka. One of the new tenants is Starbucks, an international coffee and coffeehouse chain. It will be the first store of the brand in Katowice.

“We are very glad with this lease agreement as we know many citizens of Katowice wait for the Starbacks’ store in the City” – said Monika Olejnik-Okuniewska, press spokesman at Neinver Polska. Starbucks is the largest coffeehouse company in the world. The first coffee unit was opened in 1971 in Seattle. Now, the company manages more than 17 thousands stores in 55 countries. In Poland, Stabucks has 18 stores in Gdańsk, Gdynia, Kraków, Poznań, Szczecin, Warszawa and Wrocław.

Starbucks sells drip espresso-based hot drinks, brewed coffee, other hot and cold drinks, hot and cold sandwiches, panini and wraps, salads, snacks, pastries, ice-creams. The Polish chain of Starbucks is managed by AmRest Coffee Sp. z o.o., established by Starbucks Coffee International, Inc. and AmRest Sp. z o.o.

Cushman & Wakefield, a commercial real estate brokers and consultants, is responsible for commercializing the retail space in the Neinver’s complex.
