„Supersam is now almost 70 percent leased” – Griffin Group released on Monday. The new building will offer approximately 21 000 sq. meters of retail space to be delivered in September 2015.
The newest Katowice retail facility will house about 100 shops and service points, as well as a modern cinema and fitness club. Amongst confirmed tenants are: supermarket Aldi, Cropp Town, Mohito, House, Sinsay, Multikino, Pure Fitness Club, EMPIK, SMYK, New Look, Camaieu, Rossmann, Coffee Heaven, Aroma Espresso Bar, Madagaskar, Swiss, InMedio, Bon Apetito, Lodomania, Twoje Soczewki, Mr.Minit, Apteka, Dry Cleanning Biała Róża, Kari, Krakowski Kredens, Play, Hypertel, Papierośnica, travel agency Orlica.
Demolition works on the former hall were kicked-off last week including the unique welded construction of steel spans which form the building’s construction. The investor committed oneself to preserve four spans and to keep them within the new structure.
“We will conduct all the demolition works by the end of August. The historic elements of the hall will be refurbished and stored by the time they are used at the construction site. All the building works will start at full swing in September” – said Michał Świerczyński, Venture Partner, Head of Retail w Griffin Group. Last week, Hochtief informed the construction work will be commenced in August.
Hochtief is a prime contractor of the undertaking. Centrum Development & Investments was appointed as an investment manager by Griffin Group.
