Griffin Real Estate’s Supersam was named a gold winner of the ICSC Solal Marketing Awards. The shopping center was prized within „Grand opening/expansion/refurbishment” category for its opening campaign.
The category recognizes innovation and excellence in the marketing of a new center opening or the reopening of a center and rewards creative originality and cost-effective results. It can include the opening of a specific part of a scheme such as a refurbishment of a food court, mall decor or an extension.
The Supersam Comeback! campaign used communist-styled agitation posters, newsreels and social media publications to humorously chronicle a 1960s character’s journey to the modern world. The campaign was conducted last year as the shopping center celebrated the opening, and was prepared by the Kuc Advertising Agency.
