On Friday, the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice laid a cornerstone for its new seat. Officials held the ceremony at the construction site located in the junction of Raciborska and Koszarowa streets.

The new building is being erected in the area of former military properties. Dombud was chosen as a prime contractor of the undertaking. The company currently removes soil for excavation and laid already the first slabs of a concrete foundation.
