Cornerstone ceremony for NPRSO seat

Cultural district under construction

The new seats of Silesian Museum, National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra and International Convention Center – all the three venues are being currently erected in the place of the former “Katowice” coal mine. The facilities, together with the refurbished “Spodek” hall and the new roads in the area, will create the cultural district – an exceptional undertaking in the scale of Poland.

NAC dismissed appeal of Mostostal Warszawa

The National Appeal Chamber (NAC) rejected an appeal of Mostostal Warszawa S.A. (consortium leader) tendering for a contract to conduct a construction work on a new venue of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NPRSO).

In the middle of December 2011, the City Hall of Katowice decided a two-staged limited tender procedure choosing a consortium of Warbud, PW “Ebud” – Przemysłówka and LTT as the prime contractor of the NPRSO’s new seat.
