Warbud can now celebrate another milestone for construction works on the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra’s new seat – the steel structure of 11 huge girders has been covered with last concrete elements creating the final shape of the venue’s flat roof.
The steel girders weighing 22 tons each hold the concert hall’s waved ceiling, acoustic plafond and other technical infrastructure as well as the coating of concrete and corrugated iron laid above.
Heavy snowfall greeted builders of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra’s new seat (PNRSO) on the Wednesday morning. Despite the winter and bad weather conditions, Warbud has completed to mount eleven huge girders that will support the great concert hall’s roof and delivered the construction ahead the schedule.

Exactly one month ago, construction crews of Warbud were erecting the third floor of the new venue of National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NPRSO). Today, the works are already underway on the fourth floor.
The fourth floor is the last one of the external building – a so called “ring” – that will be 20 meters high. The internal building to house the great concert hall for 1 672 spectators will reach the height of 28,4 meters.

Parabolic walls, vibro-insulators, black concrete, hand-made formworks of wooden strips, huge rubber moulds, four tower cranes and more than 150 workers at the construction site – this is how Warbud builds the new PLN 265 million seat of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NPRSO).
After five months and a half when the works have been started, the prime contractor’s strong commitment to erect the building on time and on standard is visible.
