The Optirem company is preparing to create a new industrial and technology park in the City. Named Revita Park, it will be located within the area of the former Baildon smelter at 9 Żelazna Street. The firm already issued a tender for design and revitalization works on three post-industrial buildings.

The site is zoned for commercial purposes (office, hotel, retail, housing). The land is held under perpetual usufruct.
Location:
The site is located along Ligocka St. in Brynów district near the Euro-Centrum office complex, approximately 3 km south from the Katowice’s center. The City’s land development plan allows to raise 6-storey buildings. Estimated buildings area: 30 000 sq. m. The site is armed with gas, water and power access.
The Opal Real Estate company is under refurbishment one of the old buildings near the Baildon Smelter along Gliwicka Street. The office development named Steel Office will deliver 4 805 sq. m of leasable space. This two-storey building is scheduled to be finished by the end of 2009. Each of the two storeys cover area of 2 400 sq. m designed as an open space with 4,5 metres high for each floor. The office space is already under reservation.
