New hangar opens at Katowice Airport

An opening of a new maintenance hangar was celebrated today at Katowice International Airport. According to the Upper Silesian Aviation Group (GTL), which manages the Airport, it is the most modern facility of its kind Poland at the moment.

The hangar was built for almost PLN 26 million. It covers an area of 7 912 sq. meters where a cubature totals 106 000 cu. meters. The construction work was conducted by Polimex-Mostostal and Coifer Impex SRL, and took 60 weeks.
