TDJ buys land and wants to expand its housing estate

TDJ Estate is preparing to start the second phase of its housing project „Osiedle Franciszkańskie” on Kijowska St. Also, the company purchased two additional parcels of land from Energomontaż-Południe and plans to expand its engagement in this area.

Within the first stage of the „Franciszkańskie” housing estate, a six-storey building is being erected, in which 95 apartments and 9 commercial premises are available for sale. According to the latest statement of the developer, the offer is now 80 percent sold and the building will be delivered in June this year.

„Our experience concerning the first stage of the „Franciszkańskie” housing estate convinced us that the „Ligota” district is a place where people want to live. We decided to accelerate the start of the second stage. The construction work and the apartments sale will be launched in the second quarter of 2015” – says Maciej Wójcik, CEO of TDJ Estate. „Additionally, owing to the high interest in our project and the fact that we want to expand the project, the company decided to purchase additional plots in the neigborhood”.

TDJ Estate has won a competitive tender to acquire two plots from a trustee in bankruptcy of Energomontaż-Południe. The parcels of land are located on Ostrawska and Piotrowicka streets in the very close proximity of „Franciszkańskie”. The total area of both plots amounts to 3 ha.

The extension of the housing estate is planned to be conducted on the subjected area. A new housing scheme will be designed on the Ostrawska plots and a belt of greenery will link it with „Franciszkańskie”. The purpose of the Piotrowicka plot is a retail and commercial development.

„The purchase of the plots and the expansion of the estate give us an opportunity to create a housing area for exacting customers and maybe it can even claim to be a new district of Katowice” – Marcin Wójcik adds.
