While the construction work on development of the new Railway Station and Galeria Katowicka is moving forward at Szewczyka Sq., the developer Neinver Polska wins tenants for its retail spaces in the complex. In spite Galeria Katowicka’s opening is scheduled for 2nd quarter of 2013, lease agreements already exceeds 50 percent of the total offered retail space.
After the opening, customers of the gallery will be able to choose from products offered by over 250 lessees. The probably most recognizable will be a 120 meters long Fashion Alley linking the Station building with Galeria Katowicka. Nine-meters high glass windows combined with reinforced concrete cup-shaped pillars will reveal the interior of two-level stores. The walkway will be divided by glass overpasses, the Fashion Alley will be lit with natural light from the glass ceiling.

The two-level food-court will be located below the finial of the dome of the main entrance situated on 3 Maja Street. Its landmark will be a mezzazine based at the top level, with a view on the main streets of Katowice. The facility will also host restaurants and cafés located on the ground floor with access available from the renovated Szewczyka Square.
Galeria Katowicka will be equipped with Wi-Fi zones, VIP lounges, luggage storage and modern cloakrooms. Electronic devices will be synchronized with the railway and public transport information systems, owing to which travelers should feel comfortable while spending time in the retail space and have the opportunity to constantly control the departure times of trains, buses and trams.
- For the present, future customer will have a chance to choose between following stores (up-to-date list of tenants):
