The City Council of Katowice has given the green light to the Forest Hill scheme on Bażantów St. by resolving the Spatial Development Plan for the area. The project is planned by the TUP Property developer, which wants to build a housing estate with service and retail facilities.
Previously, the 8-hectare plot had been designated for industrial and logistics use. The newly approved plan enables to build 750 apartments for about 2 500 residents covering a residential area of up to 50 000 sq. meters. Additional 2 000 sq. meters of the space could be used as service units. Moreover, in January this year TUP Property received a building permit for 3 300 sq. meters shopping center in the area of planned Forest Hill.
The company is already negotiating the joint-development of the project on Bażantów St. with other parties. “Many developers would like to carry out the investment with us. We already started negotiations but it is to soon to disclose any details” – said Katarzyna Kościelniakowska, Sales Manager at TUP Property.
