NorthgateArinso (NGA), a global human resources software and services provider, and Tauron Polska Energia, one of the largest business entities in Poland dealing with coal mining, electricity generation and distribution, joined lately a list of tenants of the Katowice Business Point (KBP) office building.
NorthgateArinso just moved in to the new office covering 900 sq. meters. In Katowice, the company established one of its Regional Delivery Centers (RDC). The unit forms part of the company’s global delivery network, designed to deliver value in HR services to firm’s customers worldwide. The RDC in Katowice has grown to employing 87 people today, however the center is still developing. It supports key HR areas like workforce administration, payroll, benefits, and recruitment. Similar RDCs are located, e.g. in Granada (Spain), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Atlanta, GA (USA), and Manila (Philippines) creating a global network of human capital management BPO.

NorthgateArinso is one of the five largest HR service providers worldwide and have offices in 35 countries on 5 continents, supporting customers in more than 100 countries. The company hires approximately 8 500 employees working in the area of HR consulting, HR outsourcing and HR technology.
Ghelamco, a developer and owner of the office building, signed the lease agreement with Tauron Polska Energia for five years. The company occupies approximately 5 700 sq. meters for its new office. Tauron Polska Energia S.A. is the mother company in the Tauron Polska Energia S.A. Capital Group. The Group is one of the largest business entities in Poland with the capital of approximately PLN 8 billion. The holding employs about 28 thousand people.

Katowice Business Point was delivered in April 2010. The building offers approximately 17 000 sq. meters of office space for lease with a total area of 25 910 sq. meters. KBP has fifteen storeys including four located under the ground and designed as a car park for 200 vehicles. It is qualified as an A-class office building featured air-conditioning, 24-hour security, raised floor, open space, openable windows, access control, suspended ceilings, kitchens, sprinklers and fiber-optic link. In March 2011 Katowice Business Point earned the BREEAM ecological certificate. The facility is managed by Cushman & Wakefield. Ghelamco claims the building is prepared for sale.
