SportsDirect.com, UK’s top sport retailer, joined the list of Supersam tenants.
SportsDirect.com offers sports clothing and equipment of such brands as Nike, adidas, Reebok, Umbro, Karrimor, Lonsdale, Dunlop and Slazenger. The two-storey shop will cover the area of about 1 550 sq. meters making the tenant one of the largest in Supersam.
The SportsDirect.com retail group currently has over 470 stores including SportsDirect.com, Field and Trek, Hargreaves Sports, Gilesports and Donnay International stores. The company has also stores in Ireland, Belgium, France, Portugal, Holland and Slovenia. The Katowice retail unit will be the eight shop of the brand in Poland. SportsDirect.com was founded as a single store in Maidenhead as Mike Ashley Sports in 1982.
The new building of Supersam will offer approximately 21 000 sq. meters of retail space to be delivered in autumn 2015.
