Wizz Air launched new Katowice route to France

On Saturday, 21st of December, Wizz Air – the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe – launched a new route between Katowice and Grenoble.

The new connection is being operated once a week, every Saturday at 12:15 p.m., on the airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 places on board. The first flight on the 21st of December gathered over 100 passengers. Seats on the Katowice – Grenoble route are on sale from PLN 99 (price for one way ticket including taxes)

„We are very excited about the new connection between Poland and France. At present, Wizz Air operates 24 routes from the Katowice International Airport. We hope the new service will positively influence the expansion of touristic traffic between both countries” – said Daniel de Carvalho, corporate communication manager at Wizz Air.

It is the second regular route to France – after Paris – offered from Katowice by the Hungarian carrier.
