Wizz Air announced a new route to attractive seaside destination in Italy. Starting on 2nd of August, the new service will connect Katowice Airport (KTW) with Bari.
Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, already offers flights from KTW to Alghero, Bolognia, Milan Bergamo, Naples and Rome Ciampino. The route to Bari will be the sixth service between Katowice and cities in Italy.
Bari is the capital of southern Italy’s Apulia region, which is a popular tourist destination with sunny weather, whitewashed hill towns and a long Mediterranean coastline. Seats on the new route are already on sale and can be booked on from PLN 79.
With the new service, Wizz Air now offers a total of 32 routes to 14 countries from Katowice Airport. Only in recent months, the carrier opened services from KTW to Dubai, Liverpool, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Alghero.
