Works on cultural district

The cultural district replacing the former “Katowice” coal mine is progressively emerging from the ground. See the progress at the three construction sites on the attached photos.

The most advanced is the process of construction of the Silesian Museum’s new seat where more than sixty percent of scheduled works have been already done. Also, the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra’s new home is being erected very efficiently – buildings crews of Warbud are progressing with the ground floor at present. Works on the building of the International Convention Center are much more behind as Polimex-Mostostal has poured just “a few” cubic meters of concrete so far.

Pictures were taken today from the Altus’ roof by Sławomir Rybok.
